A familiar and welcome scene was back operating outside the community with the return of the Dauphin HERO Club’s Hot Dog Cart. The old cart, along with the Club’s previous location, was destroyed by fire in February 2019.
Dauphin Hero Club members are sincerely appreciative of the opportunity to thank the generous citizens of Dauphin and area for their continued support of the hot dog cart. The October 28th event, outside the Club’s current location at the Dauphin Friendship Centre-Youth Centre-was a huge success.
Jim Price is a Community Mental Health Worker for Prairie Mountain Health, who works closely with members from the HERO Club.
“We are very thankful for the ongoing support received from Prairie Mountain Health and the direct donations we received from community members,” stated Price. “Without this support, we would not have our wonderfully equipped new cart back in operation. We look forward to seeing everyone again in the Spring of 2020!”
