Construction on the Dauphin Regional Health Centre has reached the stage where major changes will take place to main public entrances and exits to the facility.
ALL PUBLIC ACCESS to the hospital is now through the new temporary entrance located at the rear of the building off Jackson Street. See map below and watch for signage when you arrive.
The front entrance to the hospital as well as the vehicle/walkway ramp (off of 3rd Street SW) is now closed and will remain closed until mid 2019.
The back public entrance to the facility, which was accessible via the main DRHC parking lot area, is also closed due to construction.
Public/visitor parking areas have been enhanced at the back of the Dauphin Regional Health Centre parking lot. Access to the hospital’s back public parking lot is via Jackson Street or 4th Avenue SW.
Transportation supports such as Handi-vans, Medical Transportation Vehicles and Taxis, have a designated drop-off/pick-up area at/near the new temporary hospital entrance (off Jackson St.) There are designated handicapped parking spots that are clearly marked. These areas will be closely monitored.
Prairie Mountain Health (PMH) reminds you to watch for signage both inside and outside facilities which include the DRHC, Dauphin Community Health Building and Dauphin Personal Care Home.
